Our history
Corporate Equity Partners AG emerged mid-2006 by way
of a strategic reorganisation of the former The Fantastic
Corp.
The
Fantastic Corp. was founded in 1996 and
focused on developing and distributing software in the
telecommunication sector. Its IPO took place in
1999 with the stock listed in the "Neuer Markt", a segment
of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
Later the stock rose strongly giving The Fantastic Corp. a
market capitalisation of several billion euros, early
2000.
It was in connection with the descent of the "Neuer Markt"
that Fantastic lost much of its glamour. In the following
years several attempts to restructure the operative business,
to sell the trademark rights and to find back to the old
strength and market capitalisation remained unsuccessful.
In 2003, the operative business was completely stopped to
reduce the costs to the lowest possible level.
